Join the Nigeria Army Direct Short Service Recruitment 2022

1.  Applications are invited from eligible Nigerians for commission into the Nigerian Army (NA) as Direct Short Service  Commission (DSSC) officers. The DSSC is open to both civilians and serving military personnel. Only serving military  personnel sponsored to civil institutions by any of the Services of the Nigerian Armed Forces shall be considered. Cops Dare Buhari, IGP Bala Over Planned Nationwide Protest, Strike

Nigeria Police Force junior personnel have insisted they will embark on their planned industrial action despite threats by the Nigerian government and the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba The officers had listed poor salary, unpaid emoluments, outdated weapons, poor working conditions among other reasons for the planned protest. The protest tagged “We are tired of negligence” is scheduled to be held at the Eagles Square in Abuja on March 26 to reiterate their demands to the Nigerian government. In a document referenced 4001/AJR/NPF/ABJ/VOL 7/188 addressed to Baba, the aggrieved officers asserted that “strike is the only language Nigerian government understand(s).” According to the document, all junior ranking officers have been banned from their duty posts including those attached to politicians on and from the said date. KOGI POLY INAUGURATES NEW SUG AND NAKOSS EXCOS

Forty five (45) newly elected executive members of the Students' Union Government (SUG) and National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Kogi State Polytechnic Chapter have been inaugurated.  At the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony for both students' union bodies held on Wednesday 16th March, 2022 at the 500 seat capacity Lecture Theater of the Main Campus, 21 new executives members were of SUG while 24 were of the NAKOSS.  Chairman of the electoral committees for the two elections, Mr. Pedro Akande who thanked the Polytechnic management for the opportunity to conduct the polls appreciated the students and the newly elected executives for their diligence and orderliness that led to a peaceful, free, fair and credible election.  The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman who commended the electoral body for the successful conduct of the elections thanked the students for their support throughout the polls. Stop Artificial Fuel Scarcity, Allow Civil Servants Work From Home – NAPS Tell FG, Govs

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has called on Federal Government to end the current scarcity of premium motor spirit (PMS) in the country. In a statement issued by the National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Agada Noah, NAPS lamented the untold hardship faced by the masses everyday as a result to the scarcity. Agada, who described the current situation as “artificial scarcity of fuel”, called on Federal Government and State Governors to allow civil work from home until the issue is resolved.
