The First female Chairperson Comr. Miss Omoniyi ALICE, of NANS JCC KOGI AXIS, Congratulates PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY AYINGBA, KOGI STATE, over her Outstanding performance that led to the top-notch Victory at the Just Concluded HIGHER INSTITUTION FOOTBALL LEAGUE (HILF) Competition.

The Amazon Trailblazer, Appreciates Prof MARIETU OHUNENE TENUCHE, Vice Chancellor of the university, for Contributing Immensely to the sporting Activities on campus, she also extend her Appreciation to the SUG PRESIDENT, Comr. ACHIMUGWU OCHEJE, for supporting the students in terms of sport, the First female NANS JCC KOGI AXIS CHAIRPERSON, sees PAAU, as an Institution of learning, with so much attention towards the needs and Welfare of the students. She also said her huge congratulations, goes straightly to PAAU STEELERS AND THE UNIVERSITY SPORT COUNCIL at large. 

Comr. Miss OMOYINI ALICE, says that the Victory was not only for PAAU Students, it is also for the entire good Students of Kogi State, because the Victory has set the State on a leading Platform when it comes to Sport and other student Activities. She call on all the students to remain law abiding and also give much attention to consistent learning,As learners are also leaders.

Police Arrest Six Suspects Over Murder Of Kogi PDP Woman Leader

Six suspects have been arrested over the murder of Woman Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Wada/Aro campaign council in Kogi state, Mrs. Achejuh Abuh.This is coming barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari ordered security agencies to carry out a thorough expeditious investigation into the incident.Mrs. Abuh was burnt alive in her home by suspected political thugs after the Governorship election in the state.According to the Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Ayah, who spoke to Channels Television, the six suspects were arrested on Friday in Ochadamu while carrying out a robbery operation.He added that during interrogation, investigation revealed that one of the suspects was a principal actor in the killing of the women leader.According to Mr. Ayah, the suspects will be interrogated to ascertain the level of their involvement in the crime.The police spokesman said the outcome of the investigation will be made public upon conclusion.
