ANFS Condemns Abduction of Female Students in Katsina State

the Association of Nigeria Female Students (ANFS) expresses its deep distress at the shocking abduction of five female students from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma in Katsina state. This horrific incident occurred in the early hours of October 4th, 2023. ANFS is appalled by the increasing frequency of attacks on our educational institutions. In less than a month, two campuses have fallen victim to these criminal activities. A few weeks ago, it was Federal University Gusau in Zamfara state, and now we mourn the heartbreaking abduction in Katsina state. The leadership of ANFS firmly condemns these heinous acts. Historically, academic environments have been sanctuaries of safety and learning. However, these faceless perpetrators have disrupted the peace that students should enjoy on campuses. We have now reached a point where no student, whether male or female, feels safe while pursuing their education. It is impossible to expect students to study and learn...

THE COALITION OF CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS ON THE ALLEGATION LEVELED AGAINST MR. SEYI TINUBU BLOOMBERG REPORTERS.

It has come to the attention of the Coalition of Civil Society Groups the news by Bloomberg Reporters alleging Mr. Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigeria President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of purchasing a fraudulent property worth $11Milion from former Minister Diezeni Ally, Mr Aluko.  We wish to conveniently say without an iota of compromise, that the news is not only false but malicious and an attempt to defame the personality of Mr Seyi Tinubu by those that still find it difficult to accept the outcome of 2023 general election. While it is laughable to read such an attention seeking news, it is important to note that report of this nature is geared towards inciting the general populace against the incoming first family of federal republic of Nigeria, suffice to say that this blackmailing news like previous ones will not stand the test of time. Fake and blackmailing news are the jobs of the feeble and the weak; these very set of bad losers have tried several ways to blackm...
